John A. Rowen stringed Instruments is a full-service shop that has been serving the needs of String Players of violin, viola, cello and bass in the Greater Boston area since 1985.

 

About John A. Rowen 

 

John Rowen's formal training includes master classes at the University of New Hampshire Violin Craftsmanship Institute.

 

Rowen is a member of the Guild of American Luthiers, a performing fiddler, an engineer, and a volunteer fire fighter. 

 

Rowen was recently recognized by the Boxford Fire Department for outstanding contribution to the Emergency Medical Service in Region three.
